How did the journey begin?
HB is a small, family-run publishing house in Nottinghamshire that was established in 2021. The company predominantly creates and publishes children's and adult fiction books. Sarah and Katy - the founders of HB Publishing House - met whilst teaching in Primary Education. Their passion for all things 'books' brought them together to form a strong friendship. Together, they have over 20 years of educational experience. Their love of all things wordy and passion for creating new books helped bring the company and as they say ... the rest is history. So welcome, avid readers and writers.
Can I forward my manuscript or illustrations to HB Publishing House?
Yes, they welcome manuscripts, but note that this is a small publishing house that publishes only a small number of books per year.

Why support us? We create and publish children's and adult fiction books, supporting the indie community, but we do not take a wage for it.
We do this for free as we love books! We use all of our own money; any money made, we pay our authors and then reinvest the money into new indie author books!
